The encryption modules support the certificate-based HYBRID-System (PKCS) and the password- or secret-based SYMM-System. The container-based abylon CRYPTDRIVE is shown as own drive and allow the encrypted storing of files and programs. The module abylon SHAREDDRIVE is mainly for the working in networks and the using with different user. With abylon CRYPTMAIL you can send your messages and attachments particularly secure over the internet. With abylon LOGON you can comfortably and also secure log on to your computer with e. g. your smart card or a USB token. After pulling the token the computer log off or shut down automatically. For ultimate deleting of files and internet traces the abylon SHREDDER supports five different wiping methods, whereby the data are overwritten several times. As further modules the software package provide abylon CRYPTZIP to generate compressed ZIP-files, abylon PASTE to optimise copy and move files, abylon FIND to find files and abylon CLIENT SECTURITY to deactivate sensitive drives.
